He hasn't done much next year so I think it's about time he called it quits. A Stanley Cup would be a great way to end his great career though.

American-born, a fellow pisan, a class act and one hell of a hockey player.

I wish him all the best during his retirement and it was an absolute joy for me to be able to watch him over the last 20 years.

imo he should have retired last summer and never should have signed with detroit...

He wanted to play one season for his hometown team.

I think he would have performed better if he didn't get that wrist injury that kept him out for 4 months.
