Blackout Rule

Post  MaddMatter on September 14th 2014, 5:04 am

As some of you may have read, I guess the FCC is trying to get rid of the NFL Blackout rule.

My question to you is, how much do you think this effects the NFL if it does go away?

Does it lower ticket prices to try to get fans to go to the games?

blackout rule is STUPID!!  not every team sells out and to punish the weekend warrior fan is ridiculous...they should set a limit on viewing to 100 miles radius and leave it b..teams want a sold out stadium they need o provide a competitive product

Im sure a blackout keeps ratings down. If fans cant watch their own teams they're not tuning in. FCC doesn't like that. Simple solution:lower the ticket prices and concession prices. Cmon 15 bucks for a skinny ass hot dog and a flat 16 oz beer.

I wonder if this will affect me. I get like 2 1pm games even though the same game is on like 6 channels. It's absolute bullshit. I don't wanna watch the Bills every Sunday, sorry.
