MLB redo

Post  EPICxPENGUIN69 on May 11th 2013, 5:38 pm

ok so I just watched the no-hit bid broken up and the crowd at st louis gave a standing ovation and right after that, wainwright pointed to 2nd base and said look for the double play. It just got me thinking

how much if at all does pujols regret leaving st louis? i mean he got a shit ton of money, dont get me wrong. great motivation. but his numbers are down, his team is down, and overall the angels over paid for more than just him.

st louis has some good fans, pretty relaxed and enjoy the game. smart fans too, they pay respect to other teams and other good players

pretty good ownership for the cardnials. pujols would have made less money. i think his contract would have been 18 or 19 a year while he is making 22 to 23 a year in LA.

also a good team around him with developed talent. during that WS they had a crazy line up

some good pitching backing the hitters up, not a lot of names but some good talent who get the job done.

you think he regrets it?

I don't think he cares. I think he just wanted the money and a nice warm climate

Is St. Louis much better though? I've been there a couple times and while I never had a problem there, didn't they have like the highest murder rate a couple years ago?

comparatively to LA. just on a face test. which would you rather be in? St louis and missouri dont seem like a bad place to be. LA and california seem overcrowded.

I'm not a good person to ask. I don't like people, especially California douchbags (sp?)

I'm the type of guy that if I had to, I could live by myself in the middle of nowhere. I actually want to go on a month long camping trip when I graduate from EMU, no phones, no internet, nothing except my ipod as technology for a full month. That shit would be fun.

I don't think the CA vs MO argument matters. With all that money he got from the Angels, he can go anywhere he wants to after that. His stay in LA is just a temporary thing.
